From 4 to 7 September 2019, Vimioso (P) will host the seventh edition of the King of Portugal. Its fast tracks and the dreaded Dinosaur Eggs are a guarantee of an absolute spectacle. The BF Goodrich King of Portugal, the penultimate race of the 2019 Ultra4 Europe championship, will award important points to designate the 2019 European champion.

Non per niente la King of Portugal è chiamata The Ultimate Iberian Race. Dal primo all’ultimo dei suoi 368 chilometri di gara i 62 equipaggi presenti hanno dovuto lottare duramente per arrivare alla fine. Traguardo sognato da molti e non da tutti raggiunto. I portoghesi di Tuff 4x4 sono i vincitori della King of Portugal 2018.

Not without reason the King of Portugal is called The Ultimate Iberian Race. From the first to the last of its 368 kilometers of race the 62 teams present had to fight hard to get to the end. A goal dreamed of by many and not at all achieved. The Portuguese team Tuff 4x4 are the winners of the King of Portugal 2018.

Among my many journeys to follow the off-road competitions, I have never come across a place with a "genius loci" and a character as strong as the hill of Dinosaur Eggs where the deeds of the participants of the King of Portugal are protagonists .

They do it better! Il californiano Casey Currie vince una difficilissima King of Portugal dopo aver lottato duramente con i top driver europei come Jim Marsden e Rob Butler. Gli italiani Bartolucci e Rocca possono dire a testa alta “io c’ero!”. La King of Portugal ha dimostrato ancora una volta di essere la più bella e dura gara del campionato Ultra4 Europe e quella che più assomiglia alla blasonata King of the Hammers.
