The Rock Trophy is a new exciting project that will take extreme enthusiasts to offroad heaven with one of the wildest, most challenging and spectacular events on the RBI Sport calendar.

The Rock Trophy will take place from 6th to 11th April in beautiful and tough Romania.

Romania is the pure paradise for off-roading, featuring brilliant tracks where breathtaking landscapes will alternate with terrains with technical and difficult obstacles to overcome.

This unique event fills a void in the European offroad scene, carrying traditions and spirit of the trophies back in the days and offering relentless challenges of endurance and skills on rugged terrain combined with complex intelligent navigation. Exclusively reserved for extreme and trophy racing vehicles.

The epicentre of this amazing event will be Geoagiu Bai, a spa resort in Hunedoara County, Romania, known for its thermal waters, ancient Roman baths, and scenic landscapes. It offers wellness treatments, historical sites like the Roman Baths of Germisara, and natural attractions such as Clocota Waterfall.

- Sunday, April 6 –The Battle Begins, Prologue:

The day will start with the Administrative check & Scrutineering, followed by the Driver’s briefing and IRIS system training. 

In the afternoon the competition officially kicks off in an amazing granite quarry.

All classes will battle on rocky, uneven terrain to secure the best starting positions.

- Monday, April 7 – Costesti

Competitors set off from Costesti, a region known for its rugged landscapes and extreme off-road potential – the perfect playground for the Extreme Class. Expect relentless technical sections, where driver skill and co-driver navigation must work in perfect harmony.

Rocky river crossings, deep ravines, climbs and unpredictable terrain will challenge every move.

- Tuesday, April 8 – Geoagiu Bai

A day filled with a perfect balance between high-speed sections, extreme challenges and demanding off-road navigation. Twisting forest roads lead to breathtaking hilltop views, rewarding those who dare to push forward. Navigation is key—misjudgements can lead to costly detours, putting positions at risk.

- Wednesday, April 9 – Double Challenge

Circle Race in Poienile Beriului: A thrilling multi-lap showdown where precision and raw power collide. The day will begin with special and spectacular start. Spectators will witness close battles, with teams pushing their vehicles to the limit in a high-energy display of skill. Food vans and other facilities will be available, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the show until the end.

Night Stage in Geoagiu-Bai: A race against darkness, where visibility is limited, and instincts take over. Only the most focused and adaptable will conquer this stage without mistakes.

- Thursday, April 10 – Back To Costesti

Another day in Costesti’s unforgiving terrain, where extreme obstacles await. Steep climbs, treacherous descents, and unpredictable natural barriers will test endurance. This stage will reward quick decision-making, expert winching techniques, and seamless teamwork with your copilot. It’s all about precision, strategy, and speed!

- Friday, April 11 – The Final Push

The final day begins! A fresh route brings the ultimate challenge—new tracks, new opportunities. Navigation plays the lead role, with competitors needing to balance speed with pinpoint accuracy. Keep your focus on the navigation device; while the path ahead demands your attention, the nature surrounding you is sure to steal your gaze.

For the Legend Route: This is a specialized, dedicated path that stands apart from the other classes, offering unique challenges. Participants will face a distinctive set of obstacles designed to test their skills. Additional information and specific details about this route will be provided soon.

The Rock Trophy challenges everyone who dares to take a place on the start line. The separation of the cars in classes according to their technical capabilities balances the competition factor and creates fair environment to race among equals, offering everyone the chance to fight for the victory in his class.

The Rock Tropy is meant to become the home of all tough and passionate offroaders and not only to the high-tech combat machines. A special attention is dedicated to the competitors with modified production cars like a Defender, G-Wagon, Wrangler, Patrol, Landcruiser, Pinzgauer, Samurai, etc. who marked the beginning of the offroad sport more than thirty years ago and who are the guardians of the true spirit of adventure and team work. A special class with special rally routes and special rally program is the least what we as organizer can offer these competitors. And their class will proudly carry the name The Legends.

- The Extreme Class is for ultra-highperformance off-road vehicles with minimal restrictions. It is designed for the toughest terrains and allows vehicles with or without road registration. This class has no limitations on tire size, any type of axles is allowed and vehicles can have up to three axles.

- The Challenger Class is for highperformance vehicles designed to battle the elements of nature and vehicles in this class can also be with or without road registration. The only differences to the EXTREME CLASS are size if the tires being limited to 920 mm, portal axles are not allowed and the vehicles can have only two axles.

- The Legends Class is for competition vehicles based on serial production models, manufactured in at least 1000 identical units, with a maximum weight of 3500 kg. Only roadlegal vehicles with valid registration and insurance are allowed. While reinforcement and modifications are allowed, the cars must retain the original appearance of the production model.

- SSVs will be racing alongside the Challenger class bringing more action, more adrenaline, and more competition!

Advanced tracking systems and stringent safety measures will ensure that the race remains both thrilling and fair, so competitors can push themselves to the edge with confidence.

The Rock Trophy will offer one main location in Geoagiu-Bai, in the west of Romania, easy to access via motorway and well equipped for service park and bivouac.

Those who enjoy camping can stay in the bivouac, while those who prefer a hotel can take advantage of nearby accommodations.

The rally operates on a self-catering basis. It will give you the chance to bring your favourite camp recipes and share the experience with others, or enjoy delicious Romanian cuisine at nearby restaurants.
