Spesso le migliori idee nascono quasi per caso davanti ad una birra tra amici. Amazons Race è nata proprio così a Topusko durante il Croatia Trophy.
Si tratta di una gara completamente dedicata ad equipaggi femminili che si disputerà in Italia ad Attimis (UD) all'interno della famosa ex polveriera di Racchiuso.
Fuori dal vecchio continente sono vari gli esempi di competizioni dedicate esclusivamente ad equipaggi femminili; ne troviamo esempi tra le sabbie del Marocco, nei deserti del Nevada e della California ed in Malesia. In Europa sono numerose le donne che partecipano a gara come navigatrici o come driver ma al momento non esiste una gara espressamente dedicata a loro.
Sotto l'egida del Friuli Fuoristrada, in collaborazione con OFFROAD Lifestyle e 4x4 Mafia, sarà organizzata Amazons Race. Si tratta di una vera e propria corsa in style trophy, che si svolgerà all'interno dell'ex Polveriera di Racchiuso (Udine - Italia) dove acqua, fango e passaggi tecnici saranno i protagonisti dell'evento.
Le amazzoni del fuoristrada dovranno destreggiarsi con le più classiche situazioni del fuoristradismo europeo dove le capacità di guida e di winching saranno un aspetto fondamentale della corsa.
Quello che è sicuro è che non sarà un weekend qualunque; offroad, divertimento, musica e tanta convivialità saranno gli ingredienti vincenti di Amazons Race.

Often the best ideas are born almost accidentally in front of a beer with friends. Amazons Race was born just like that in Topusko during the Croatia Trophy. It is a race entirely dedicated to women's crew that will be held in Italy in Attimis (UD) within the famous former powder of Racchiuso.
Out of the old continent are various examples of competitions dedicated exclusively to women's crew; we find examples in the sands of Morocco, in the deserts of Nevada and California and Malaysia. In Europe there are numerous women participating in the race as navigators or as a driver but at the moment there is no specifically dedicated to their race.
Under the aegis of Friuli Fuoristrada, in collaboration with OFFROAD Lifestyle and 4x4 Mafia, it will be organized Amazons Race. It is a real ride style trophy, which will be held in the former powder of Racchiuso (Udine - Italy) where water, mud and technical steps will be the protagonists of the event.
The amazons will have to juggle with the most classic of the European offroad situations where the ability to drive and winching will be a fundamental aspect of the race.
The dates will be announced soon, but what is sure is that there will be not a normal weekend; offroad, fun, music and lots of conviviality will be the winning ingredients of Amazons Race.
